Human craft for the
algorithmic age
We started Rehumane because we saw a problem: AI was generating code faster than teams could review it. Someone needed to bring back craft.
How it
started
It started with a project that should have been simple. A well-funded startup, talented team, modern stack. But when we looked under the hood, we found chaos.
Thousands of lines of AI-generated code, no consistency, abstractions that made no sense. The developers weren't bad. They were drowning.
AI tools had let them move fast, but no one had time to review what was being generated. Technical debt was accumulating at an unprecedented rate.
Rehumane was born to be that response.
Principles that guide us
Craft
We believe in doing things right, not just fast. Every line of code should be intentional.
Clarity
Complexity is easy. Clarity is hard. We work to make systems understandable.
Humanity
Software is made by humans, for humans. Teams should feel empowered.
Scale
Good architecture anticipates growth without over-engineering for it.
Small by design
We're a deliberately small team of senior engineers and architects. Everyone here has built systems at scale, shipped production code for years, and developed a deep appreciation for what makes software maintainable over time.
We stay small on purpose. It lets us be picky about the projects we take on and ensures every engagement gets our full attention.
